College Bike Tour

IvyWise Counselor Nat Embarks On a Week-Long Bike Tour Of Colleges Think driving from city to city on college visits can be tiring? Try biking it! IvyWise counselor Nat and about 18 other college counselors from around the country set off today on the Green Mountains Bike Tour, a 6-day, 300-mile bike tour of 7 college campuses in upstate New York and Vermont. As independent counselors, it’s important (and necessary!) to stay familiar and up-to-date with college campuses across the country as to better advise our students when it comes time to apply. Dr. Kat and all counselors frequently tour colleges and universities throughout the year, but this annual bike tour is certainly one of the most challenging! Nat and the other counselors will begin in Saratoga Springs at Skidmore College (Nat’s alma mater!) before biking to Shushan, NY, Poultney, VT, Castleton, VT, Middlebury, VT, Colchester, VT, Burlington, VT, Plattsburgh, NY, and then back to Saratoga Springs. The counselors will visit a total of 7 schools: Skidmore College, Green Mountain College, Middlebury College, Castleton State College, Saint Michael’s College, University of Vermont, and SUNY Plattsburgh.
